In support of Clean Air Action Day, the City of Mesquite has arranged a special event on Friday, June 27, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Town East Ford, 18411 LBJ Freeway. For details, call 972-329-8300.
The event will feature all of Ford’s fuel-efficient electric and hybrid vehicles. Additionally, the City will have a conservation booth in the showroom. The booth will have information on City conservation tips as well as information from the North Texas Council of Governments and the Texas Department of Transportation. The goal is to encourage residents to visit the dealership and use one of the computers we will have set up to visit the Air North Texas website and list their “commitment” to help air quality. As an incentive, the City will offer a variety of conservation-related promotional items, including a environmentally-friendly canvas lunch bag.
