Mesquite, TX – January 12, 2021 – The City of Mesquite has resumed water disconnections of delinquent accounts. City utility customers have several options to pay their water utility bill, including online.
To make a payment online, go to the City of Mesquite’s website at www.cityofmesquite.com, click Payments and Donations and then Water Bill. From there, customers will need their account number and customer ID, both of which can be found on a customer’s monthly statement in the top right-hand corner. The account number is nine-digit number and the Customer ID is a six-digit number after the dash on the statement.
Once you sign in, you can view or pay your bill clicking Manage Bills link on the right side of the screen. Then your most recent bills will show up and you can click the Pay button on the bottom right of the screen. You can pay online with a credit or debit card, which requires a small service fee, or with an eCheck. The service fee is not charged nor collected by the City of Mesquite but by the payment processor.

Customers can also pay their water bills over the phone, by mail, in person or through the drop box. To make a payment over the phone, call the Utility Billing Office at 972-216-6208. You can pay with a checking account or with a credit card, which does require a fee. Customers can also pay by mail by sending their payment to: City of Mesquite, Water Utilities, PO BOX 850287, Mesquite, TX 75185.
To make a payment in person, visit the Water Utility Office at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Avenue during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can make a payment by cash, check, money order or by credit card. You can pay in person at local store locations using Fidelity Express payment services. Click here to find a location. Customers can also take advantage of the drive-through drop box in front of City Hall to drop off their water utility bill payments.
