Mesquite, Texas – May 29, 2019 – One of the highlights of Summer Sizzle is the live music that families can enjoy throughout the day. The first performance begins at 4:30 p.m. with The Lara Latin Band, a popular salsa band that will get you up and dancing. At 6:30 p.m. get rocking to the 50s and 60s with the rockabilly band, The Vinyl Stripes. Headlining the festival at 8:30 p.m. is the renowned band Empire 6, playing the most popular modern pop tunes until the fireworks start at 10 p.m. Don’t miss this great lineup of music that can be enjoyed while relaxing in the cooling tent, in the Food Truck Yard, or under the covered picnic tables near the stage. Festival-goers are also welcome to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, strollers, picnics and coolers to the event.
Summer Sizzle takes place from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at Paschall Park, 1001 New Market Road.
Event admission and parking are free; however, some activities have a small fee. Parking is available at Travis Williams Softball Complex, 1005 New Market Road. Additional parking and free shuttle service are available at Mesquite Memorial Stadium, 2411 Scyene Road.
