Both of the Mesquite Public Libraries are open to provide the public free access to public computers to aid individuals, who sustained losses due to the winter storms and do not have insurance, in applying for federal assistance. The Mesquite Main Library is located at 300 W. Grubb Drive and the North Branch Library is located at 2600 Oates Drive. For more information, call the Main Library at 972-216-6220 or the North Branch Library at 972-681-0465.
Per the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), before applying for assistance follow these steps to start the recovery process:

North Branch Library Hours
The library will be open to the general public the following hours:

Tuesday | 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. |
Wednesday | 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. |
Thursday | 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. |

Saturday | 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. |

The Mesquite Public Library is a proud recipient of the 2019 Achievement of Library Excellence Award presented by the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association.
TMLDA presents this annual award to libraries that demonstrate consistent excellence and outstanding contributions to public library services within their communities. In 2019, only 53 of the more than 571 public libraries in Texas received this prestigious honor.
