Mesquite, TX – November 8, 2018 – Small business owners get a golden opportunity to collect strategic tips on running a successful operation at the inaugural Mesquite Entrepreneurs Day Tuesday, Nov. 13. Entrepreneurs Day, set for 3-7 p.m. at 214 W. Davis, is an event designed to provide inspiration and information to attendees in a series of repeating workshops on how to plan, start, manage and expand a business. The flexible schedule allows participants to attend part or all of the concurrent sessions that repeat at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Limited seating tickets are $20 and may be purchased by visiting MesquiteEntrepreneursDay.com.
The program features:
- Antonio Swad, founder of Wing Stop and Pizza Patron, will open with an inspirational talk at 3 p.m. Swad is currently finalizing his new concept restaurant, Porch Swing, to open soon in Mesquite.
- Nationally known speaker and community developer Monte Anderson of Options Real Estate Investments, Inc., will deliver his keynote, the “Envision Your Future as an Entrepreneur”, at 5:30 p.m.
- Panelists from the Small Business Administration, the Dallas Metropolitan Small Business Development Center, RDM Innovation Training, Eastfield College, and CoStar Property, as well as more than two dozen other experts in their respective fields.
Entrepreneurs day is a project of the Business Retention and Expansion partnership led by the City of Mesquite, Eastfield College, Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, Mesquite Independent School District and the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce.
