Mesquite, TX - October 21, 2019 - The Mesquite ISD will honor the City of Mesquite's first responders of the Mesquite Police Department, Mesquite Fire Department and Mesquites 9-1-1 Dispatchers before the high school football game of West Mesquite v Poteet. The game will be played at Mesquite Memorial Stadium, 2500 Memorial Blvd, Mesquite, TX 75149.
The events will include a ceremonious coin toss and special video tribute at 6:45 p.m., with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m.. The players will wear special first responder helmet decals and play with commemorative first responder footballs. Tickets to the game are available for purchase at the gate.
