Christmas on the Square: Nov. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of Christmas at this seasonal holiday tradition in the historic heart of Mesquite. Join the mayor, city council and Mesquite ISD students for the lighting of the community Christmas tree. Christmas in the Park: Dec. 3 from 2 - 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2 - 7 p.m. at Westlake Park, 601 Gross Road. Mesquite's largest annual event kicks off the holiday season with the "Here Comes Christmas" lighted float parade with fireworks, fair food favorites, and food trucks. Enjoy bounce houses, games, community performances, and write letters to Santa to drop it in the special North Pole mailbox. Admission is free, concessions and some activities will have a cost. Christmas My Way: Runs Dec. 2 - 18, at the Mesquite Arts Theatre. Complete with 40 Sinatra hits, nothing will be silent on this night. 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays, $20 per ticket available at www.mesquiteartstheatre.org.
Christmas at the Ranch: Dec. 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Florence Ranch Homestead, 1424 Barnes Bridge Road.
