Mesquite Social Services (MSS) regrets to announce that it will be closing its doors on December 18, 2020. MSS has served Mesquite and the surrounding communities for nearly 58 years. Began by Mesquite resident, Jewel Westmoreland, MSS started as a food pantry on a shoestring budget and since developed programs to give individuals and families in financial crisis basic needs and skills to become more self-sufficient. Serving our neighbors in need has been the honor and privilege of staff, volunteers, and board members. We cannot express enough of our gratitude for all who have supported our work throughout the years.
The City of Mesquite would like to remind those who would like to contribute to those in need, consider Sharing Life Community Outreach. You will find the necessary information on their website www.sharlinglifeoutreach.org.
