The City of Mesquite is pleased to host the Mother-Son and Daddy-Daughter dances at the Mesquite Convention Center, 1700 Rodeo Drive. The Mother-Son Dance will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 13. The Daddy-Daughter Dance will take place on Saturday, March 14, and will be offered in two sessions: 4-6 p.m. or 7-9 p.m.
Guests are invited to enjoy an evening fit for royalty in a castle-inspired setting with a “A Knight to Remember” theme for the Mother-Son Dance and a “A Royal Knight” theme for the Daddy-Daughter Dance.
Each event will feature a live DJ, dancing, light refreshments and a 360-degree photo booth experience. Professional photographs and souvenirs will be available for purchase on site. Guests will also have the opportunity to create and purchase a stuffed animal through the Teddy Bear Mobile.
Attendees at each dance will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a special prize. At the Daddy-Daughter Dance, Raising Cane’s is sponsoring an American Girl doll. At the Mother-Son Dance, guests may enter for a chance to win a remote-controlled car.
Tickets are limited and will not be sold at the door. Admission is $25 per person and may be purchased online, at any Mesquite recreation center, or at the Parks and Recreation Administration office, 1515 N. Galloway Ave.
