SKYLINE DRIVE – Town East Boulevard to Peachtree Road
What: Four lane divided concrete thoroughfare reconstruction project which will move westbound lanes to the south creating a buffer area that includes a trail, screening wall, and landscaping.
When: Main lane is complete. Concrete screening wall sections along the alleys are being erected from west to east. Construction scheduled to be complete in the spring of 2024.
EASTRIDGE PARK (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential water and street improvements in various areas in and around Eastridge Park neighborhood. Sections of concrete pavement have been identified for removal and replacement along with some sidewalks and alley approaches. Paving is progress on Baker Drive and Eastbrook Drive.
Where: Streets in the Eastridge Park project include Belhaven Drive, Cumberland Drive, Eastbrook Drive, Greenhill Drive, Larchmont Drive, Mark Drive, Moreland Drive, Whit Drive, Lovell Drive, Stafford Lane, Schirra Way, Anders Drive, Borman, Avenue, Fulton Drive, John Glenn Parkway, Viva Drive, Catalina Drive, and Flamingo Way.
When: The project should be complete in early 2024.
ROLLINGWOOD HILLS (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential water, sanitary sewer, and street improvements in the Rollingwood Hills subdivision. Paving improvements will include both concrete reconstruction and asphalt milling and overlay. Various sidewalks, driveway approaches, and alleys will also be replaced. Utility construction is nearly complete with paving on Orange Lane and Rollingwood Drive.
Where: Streets include Ridgefield Circle, Darien Drive, Rollingwood Drive, Orange Lane, Brunswick Lane, Fielding Drive, Woodbridge Way, Hamden Lane, Glenridge Drive, Danbury Drive, Derby Drive, Military Parkway (water only), and Scyene Road (water only).
When: Construction should be completed in the summer of 2024.
KEARNEY STREET (Belt Line Road to SH 352) and PEACHTREE ROAD (Skyline Drive to Gross Road)
What: Concrete pavement reconstruction of identified areas including isolated curb, median, and sidewalk repairs.
When: Construction started on Kearney from SH 352 working west, nearing Belt Line. Street parking will be prohibited on Kearney as construction progresses towards Belt Line.
EXECUTIVE BOULEVARD and INNOVATIVE WAY
What: Industrial street reconstruction which will include water and sanitary sewer replacement under the pavement.
When: Water line replacements are complete. Sanitary sewer replacement is starting. Construction will be completed in the fall of 2024.
LEE STREET / GRUBB DRIVE (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential street improvements including concrete pavement replacement in certain areas, an asphalt overlay, and sidewalk repairs. Some grades (the measure of a road’s steepness) on Lee will be adjusted to improve drainage along curbs and gutters.
When: Construction on Grubb is underway.
SOUTH PARKWAY – U.S. 80 to Peachtree Road (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Utility and paving reconstruction of a two-lane residential collector street to include areas of on-street parking. Sections of the road will be closed during different phases of construction. Residents will have alley access to their homes.
When: Project had been awarded and will start in early 2024.
