Mesquite Arts Center Offers Unique Concerts Under the Stars

Home Posted on February 27, 2026

Warmer weather is calling… enticing you to enjoy outdoor activities once again. Spring is on the way in North Texas, and the Mesquite Arts Center offers the perfect venue and series to ease into the new season. The Courtyard Concert Series kicks off with the Elton Johns on Thursday, March 5; it’s all free—and is sure to entertain.

The series is held at the Mesquite Arts Center courtyard, where concertgoers can enjoy an evening under the stars. The series runs on Thursday nights twice a month, from March through June. The laid-back setting creates the perfect backdrop to experience awesome cover-band music, up-close and personal.

If you’re ready for great tunes, good vibes and a fun atmosphere, the Courtyard Concert Series is the place to be. In addition to the Elton Johns, performers this season include PriMadonna, Mr. Inez, Who’s Best, Graceland Ninjaz, and Le Cure, just to name a few.

The events are hosted all free of charge, and are rain or shine. In case of rain or cold weather (it is Texas, after all), the event moves inside to the rehearsal hall. Patrons who become a “Friend of the Mesquite Arts Center,” receive special perks like reserving a bistro table during the series.
