The City has designed Salute to Safety, a campaign to celebrate first responders in Mesquite from Sept. 26-Oct. 7, 2025.

- First Responder’s Game, 7 p.m. at Mesquite Memorial Stadium, 2500 Memorial Blvd. Mesquite High School versus Horn High School.
Sept. 29
- Books and Badges, 10:30 a.m. - Firefighters and Police officers will read to children during story time at North Branch Library, 2600 Oates Dr.

- First Responders Pledge, 7 p.m., Council Chambers, 757 N. Galloway Ave. Police officer, Firefighter and Dispatcher representatives lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the City Council meeting.
Oct. 7
