Complete payment is required when making your reservation. The $100 deposit is a cleaning and damage fee that is refundable as long you have cleaned, there are no damages and you have left the reservation on time.

Parks and Recreation will provide all toiletries and cleaning supplies for you to use during your reservation.

We do not allow waterslides at our parks as there are no water hook-ups at the pavilions. Petting zoos are not allowed because of health and sanitary reasons.

Westlake can only be viewed on Monday from 6-7p.m. except on City holidays or during special events and Lakeside on Tuesday from 6-7p.m. except on City holidays or during special events.

Parks and Recreation will provide the off-duty police officer at reservations that require an officer.

A staff attendant is required for events that have either a DJ with dancing, alcohol, or both as a safety precaution.

Up to $100 may be deducted from the deposit if the facility is not cleaned properly and/or the equipment not returned to its original location. Patrons should check with the Mesquite Parks and Recreation attendant in an effort to avoid these charges. A detailed custodial report will be prepared for the responsible party if charges are assessed.

Please allow up to 7-14 business day after your reservation to receive a refund.

Reservations can be made up to 11 calendar months in advance. Reservations for Lakeside Activity Center, Westlake House and Goodbar Recreation Center require a weeks’ notice; other recreation centers need a 72-hour notice.

The City does not provide projectors, microphones or sound systems for any reservation.

Persons making a reservation must show proof of Mesquite residency (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.).

The person who makes the reservation has to be the one who pays for the reservation.

Cancellations made more than 7 days from the scheduled date of a reservation will be assessed a 25 percent cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days from the scheduled reservation date will be assessed a 50 percent cancellation fee.

Baseball fields that are located at our parks are not included with your reservation rental.

Balloons are not allowed at any of our pool. If the balloons pop they can get in our filtration system and cause damage to the pool pump.

If you enter a pool facility you are required to pay an entry fee even if you do not swim.
