  • Contact the front desk at 972-216-6261. You will need to have your VIN number or license plate number to determine which of the three wrecker yards your vehicle could be at. The front desk will then give you the phone number and address where your vehicle is located. You will need to call that wrecker service to obtain fees and requirements to claim your vehicle.

  • The Mesquite Police Department is committed to unbiased policing. Acts of racial profiling are strictly prohibited by this department. Citizens who wish to file a complaint regarding an allegation of racial profiling may do by contacting the Mesquite Police Department Internal Affairs Section in person Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 777 North Galloway Avenue, by email at sturner@mesquitepolice.org or by phone at 972-216-6236. Outside of the hours listed above, you may contact the on-duty watch commander at 972-216-6251 by email at watchcommander@mesquitepolice.org.

  • Generally, it is the policy of the Mesquite Police Department that accidents involving only damage to property will not be investigated and no report will be taken.
