STEAR Program

What is the STEAR Program?

STEAR, or State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry, is a free, voluntary registry that provides local emergency planners and responders with critical information on the needs of their community. Texas communities use the registry information in different ways, but your information will always be kept confidential, will never be sold, and is not available to the public. For information on how your community uses STEAR information, contact Mesquite Office of Emergency Management at oem@mesquitefire.org

Registering yourself in STEAR does not guarantee that you will receive a specific service during an emergency. Available services and resources will vary by community and by emergency event.
