Please join us every 2nd Tuesday of the Month this Fall! If you have a child age 12-14 years old who wants to learn how to break', then this class is for you. Focusing on the fundamentals of breakin', this course will teach your child hip hop terms such as "Top Rock", "Groundwork", and "Pose". This is a FREE course and requires registration. Please contact Erica at email@example.com.
There is a mix of songs, rhymes, finger plays, and books. However, there is a greater emphasis on books, on longer stories with more challenging content, and on independent participation by the kids. Children will be introduced to group participation, and caregivers will learn some songs and rhymes to share with their children at home. This program is an opportunity for children to mature socially and developmentally in preparation for school. Sounds, letter recognition, and new words that will help them grow into pre-readers all while having fun. Program length: approx. 30 minutes. This program is recommended for children 3 to 5 years old. For more information, please call the Main Library at 972-216-6220.
