Being of Mexican descent, he creates Aztec narrative paintings, along with exploring the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos. Come support him before you join us for our annual Day of The Dead Celebration.

We are honored to welcome the "Developing Story" of Michelle Richardson's exhibition this Fall. Exhibition will be on display from October 1- December 29. The exhibition revolves from the tradition of gathering around the radio, television or other devices during historic moments has carried on from generation to generation. Inspired by current events, this exhibition references mass communication and the implications of the 24-hr news cycle with a series of screens that act in totality as both painting and silent time-based media.
Please join us on December 7th from 6-8 PM for sips and bites a viewing of Michelle Richardson's artwork in Mesquite Arts Center Main Gallery. This is a FREE event.

Mesquite Recycles Day is a twice-annual event held in Mesquite, TX. At the event, we accept used cell phones, batteries and accessories; printer cartridges, and rechargeable and alkaline batteries. We also accept used books, commercially-produced VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs and books on tape. Local agencies are on-hand to collect used toys and children’s items, clothing, and household items.
Onsite shredding is available for home use. Also to be accepted on that day are e-waste including computers and peripheral equipment, VCRs, DVD players, and similar items. Join us on Saturday, November 9 for a celebration to honor all military veterans at City Lake Park located at 403 S. Galloway from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This year's event will feature the official groundbreaking of the New Mesquite Veterans Memorial.
There will be a complimentary picnic provided by The Mesquite Fire Corps. A special musical presentation will be given by The Dallas Heritage Brass Band. Donations for the Mesquite Veterans Memorial will be accepted at the event.
