  2. Michelle Richardson: Developing Story Exhibition 10.1.2019 - 12.29.2019

    We are honored to welcome the "Developing Story" of Michelle Richardson's exhibition this Fall. Exhibition will be on display from October 1- December 29. The exhibition revolves from the tradition of gathering around the radio, television or other devices during historic moments has carried on from generation to generation. Inspired by current events, this exhibition references mass communication and the implications of the 24-hr news cycle with a series of screens that act in totality as both painting and silent time-based media. Please join us on December 7th from 6-8 PM for sips and bites a viewing of Michelle Richardson's artwork in Mesquite Arts Center Main Gallery. This is a FREE event.     City Council meetings are held on the first and third Monday of each month. The meetings are re-scheduled to the next Tuesday when it conflicts with a City holiday that falls on a Monday meeting date. The start time is published once the agenda is finalized and posted online. Per State law, agendas are posted a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the meeting start time. Residents may sign-up through the “Mesquite Messenger/Notify Me” function on the City’s website to receive email notification when a new City Council agenda is posted.

  2. Free Medicare Workshop at Main Library

    October 7, 2019, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Mesquite Main Library

    Attend a free Medicare Workshop at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Mesquite Main Library, 300 W. Grubb Drive. The workshop covers, in detail, the four parts of Medicare – A, B , C and D. Get a better understanding of Medicare eligibility, election periods and enrollment penalties. Participants also will learn the differences between original Medicare, Medicare Advantage (Part C), Prescription Drug (Part D) and the donut hole. This is an educational event.
