2. What do I do if I think my water bill is too high?: If you think your water bill is too high, you can have your meter re-read. To schedule a meter reread, contact the Water Billing Office at (972) 216-6208.

4. How do I check the due date of my water bill?: You can check the status of your bill and its due date by logging onto your online account. The due date for the bill is also listed at the top of the water bill.

5. Does the City give a discount for filling up swimming pools?: No. The City does not offer discounts for filling up swimming pools. Regular water rates apply.

6. Can I change the due date of my water bill?: No. Water bills are sent out according to sectors within the city. Each sector is billed at a certain time during the month. 8. Does the City grant leak adjustments?: Yes. The City does grant leak adjustments. These requests must include a copy of the repair statement indicating that a leak was discovered and repaired. How do I set up water service with the City of Mesquite?: Homeowners will need to bring a copy of the settlement statements received at the closing of the home and personal identification for each of the listed purchasers to the Water Billing Office. Renters will need to bring a copy of the lease agreement, green tag showing the property has passed inspection by the City of Mesquite within the past 30 days, and personal identification for each adult tenant on the lease to the Water Billing Office.
