1. What are the Health Clinic hours and holiday closing times?

The City of Mesquite Health Clinic is open Monday – Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

2. What is the cost of Health Clinic immunizations and tests?

Children’s immunizations: $14 per eligible child

Influenza vaccinations for adults: $25

4. How do I volunteer with the City of Mesquite?

The City of Mesquite is always seeking volunteer assistance. To volunteer with the City, complete a Volunteer Application online and return it to the Volunteer Office along with a copy of your driver's license or state-issued identification.. The Volunteer Office is located at 1616 N. Galloway Avenue in the City’s Community Services building.

5. Which agencies accept court-ordered community service hours?

6. Does the City of Mesquite help with emergency home repairs?

The City of Mesquite does help with emergency home repairs. The Emergency Repair Program assists homeowners in Mesquite, that qualify as low-income, with repairs to items that pose an imminent threat to the health and/or safety of the Homeowner and is limited to non-working HVAC, non-working water heater, gas leak, and standing raw sewage. 7. Does the City of Mesquite help with non-emergency home repairs?

The City of Mesquite does help with non-emergency home repairs. The program assists homeowners in Mesquite, that qualify as low-income, with up to a $30,000 grant for repairs to address interior and/or exterior deficiencies that make the dwelling unsafe, unsanitary or in need of renewal as determined by staff. Repair or replacement of items could include roofing, vinyl siding, windows, doors, flooring, painting, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, ADA modifications.

8. How do I apply for the Housing Choice Voucher program?

The Housing Choice Voucher Program is not currently accepting applications. When the waiting list opens, applicants may apply online.
