According to a 2018 Small Business Economic Impact Study, for every dollar spent at a small business in the U.S., approximately 67 cents stay in the local community. Christmas in the Park Dec. 7-8Mesquite continues its holiday kick off during Christmas in the Park from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8. The event takes place at Westlake Park, 601 Gross Road. Activities include free carnival games and make-and-take crafts, marshmallow roasting, pictures with Santa, and free cookies and hot chocolate.
