Mesquite Fire Department provides Real. Texas. Service.

Mesquite firefighters recently fought a two-alarm fire at Appleseed Academy, 4346 N. Galloway Avenue, which destroyed the private school and daycare. Thankfully, students and staff practice fire drills each month and everyone was evacuated from the building safely. The school is now operating at its temporary location at First Baptist Church of Meadowview. Firefighters from Fire Station #5 did their best to salvage what they could from the fire, which was limited to tricycles used by the children. The firefighters retrieved the undamaged tricycles from the school, cleaned them at Fire Station #5 and delivered them to the school's new location.
