Pothole Blitz and Road Report UpdateConstruction on the Real.Texas.Roads. project continues on Monticello Drive and Golden Grove Drive, with work recently completed on Fernwood Drive. Construction crews will then work on Stony Glen Drive as the project progresses. Also, crews repaired 189 potholes across several neighborhoods and corridors during last month's Pothole Blitz. Mesquite Police and Fire Help Residents Ring in the New YearThe City of Mesquite Police and Fire Departments proactively helped residents enjoy safe celebrations on New Year's Eve. Mesquite Police Officers confiscated more than 46 pounds of fireworks, seized two firearms and made two arrests for discharge of a firearm. Officers made six DWI arrests, but reported no accidents as a result of these offenses. Click here to learn more.
