Register to vote by Oct. 6Oct. 6 is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming election. Early voting in Dallas and Kaufman County will take place from Oct. 20-31, and polls will be open on Election Day, Nov. 4, from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Residents can visit the Dallas County and Kaufman County elections departments online for more information.

Road Report update: F.P. Lucas Blvd.F. P. Lucas Boulevard, from McKenzie Road to E. Cartwright Road, is expected to be completed this fall. The existing two-lane asphalt road will be replaced with a new four-lane divided concrete road. The project includes new water and sewer utilities, a new multi-use trail, a new bridge section, and a new traffic signal at Jaguar Way. For details, click here.
