Youth Services programs for teensMesquite teens in grades 9-12 are invited to apply for the City's new Youth Council. The council gives students an opportunity to share their voice and shape the future of our community. Also, applications are open for the Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP) for teens ages 16-18. Annual water system maintenanceThe North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) will conduct its annual system maintenance process March 3-31 to ensure drinking water remains safe for residents in Mesquite. The City works closely with the NTMWD to maintain positive water flows and reduce impacts during this time. The process may cause slight odor changes and irritate some with skin sensitivities.
