Mesquite, TX – Sept. 13, 2022 – Mesquite Animal Services placed 50 animals in new homes during the Clear the Shelter adoption event on Saturday, Aug. 27. Adoption fees were waived for the day as part of the nationwide event. All adopted pets were sterilized, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Despite the successful event, the shelter is still full of many wonderful cats and dogs ready for their forever homes. Animal Services is offering a 50% off special on all available dogs and cats throughout the month of September to encourage adoptions. Reduced adoption fees are $40 for cats and $50 for dogs. Adoption fees include vaccinations, sterilization, and microchipping.
