Mesquite, TX – May 1, 2020 – In accordance with guidelines issued in The Governor’s Report to Open Texas, the Westlake Sports Center, 601 Gross Road, will be reopening on Friday, May 1 at 12 p.m. for tennis, archery and pickleball. To protect the health and safety of the public and City employees, the following rules have been implemented:
- No more than four players on one court at any time.
- Players must schedule a reservation time for either tennis, pickleball or archery.
- Walk-ups will not be accommodated. Reservations are required and can be scheduled by visiting www.cityofmesquite.com/Tennis.
- Permitted arrival time is 15 minutes prior to scheduled court time and only one customer will be allowed in the pro shop area at a time.
- Face masks are required while in the pro shop and waiting areas are designated by taped squares on the ground both inside and outside.
- At this time, the use of the tennis ball machine and rental equipment is not available.
- All water cans have been removed from courts. Players will need to provide their own drinks.
