Connecting Children & Adults to History & Nature in Mesquite, Texas
The Lawrence Family Homestead Outdoor Classroom is a collaborative partnership between Historic Mesquite, Inc. and Keep Mesquite Beautiful, Inc. The overall purpose is to promote education, historical importance and environmentalism.
The Lawrence Family Homestead Outdoor Classroom is comprised of three phases:
- Historical Cabin
- Nature Trail
- Earthen Amphitheater
We believe that the Lawrence Family Homestead Outdoor Classroom project will allow both agencies to better achieve our missions, promote a sense of community pride in our residents and educate the future leaders of our community.
