In March, Mayor Bruce Archer presented a virtual 2021 State of the City. The update provided details on City accomplishments from 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and how the City of Mesquite will continue to move forward in 2021.
Mayor Archer presented special City awards: Mesquite Police Officer of the Year, Officer Al Kalota; Mesquite Fire Officer of the Year, Captain Chad Rose; and General Government City Employees of the Year, Libby Craven, Human Resources Manager and Larry Ewing, Manager of Facilities Maintenance.
