KMB needs MANY volunteers to dig ancient flowers and grasses from unbroken land before development takes place.
We will transplant this pure nature into two Mesquite parklands and a few MISD middle school yards for the enjoyment of all Mesquite residents, birds, bees, and butterflies for decades to come.
Bring a rounded shovel, some plastic landscaping bags, and a pick-up truck or flat-bed trailer if you have one. We could use 11 or more pick-up trucks. If you can't dig, bring some lunch sized paper bags to collect seed.
Take home sacred soil in you own bucket. Plant it a your house, send Keep Mesquite Beautiful your name, and in one year email a photo of the plants that grew up in your tiny habitat and and we will recognize the best Big Dig tiny habitats.
