After-school Adventures

The After School Adventures Program is managed by trained staff and designed to include fun, healthy activities, arts and crafts, snacks, and homework time. The program serves children in Kindergarten through sixth grade and operates in conjunction with the MISD calendar. 

Ages: K - 6th grade.
Hours: Mon. -  Fri., 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Fees: $100 per child, per month (resident)
          $110 per child, per month  (non-resident)

20/21 Registration Packet
Participants must complete a registration packet each new school year. Registration packets must be completely filled out and returned before a child many attend the program. ​After School Adventures Program Response to COVID-19                               

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mesquite Parks & Recreation, with guidance from the public health officials, has developed new protocol to do our part to safely operate after school programs our facilities. While noticeable changes are in place, participants and families will still experience the fun, high-energy program they know and love. Registration and Capacities

To comply with new safety and health protocols, pre-registration will be required. Children must be registered before they can attend the program. Registration will be available online at, in person at the Parks and Recreation Administration office, 1515 N. Galloway Ave. beginning August 1st. Payment is due at the time of registration. Space is limited, program capacity numbers have been reduced at each site to ensure safe operations within facilities.
