MESQUITE ATHLETIC COMMITTEE REPRESENTATIVES IN YOUTH SPORTS

Mesquite PARD coordinates team sport programs for all ages. Youth athletic organizations operate and govern the boys baseball, girls fast-pitch softball, soccer and youth football programs. All other youth team and individual athletic programs are coordinated through the Mesquite PARD Athletic Office.

NYSCA COACH CERTIFICATION

National Youth Sport Coaches Association, NYSCA, is an extensive certification program which concentrates on the philosophy of coaching youth. First aid and injury prevention, along with coaching techniques per sport, are discussed in detail.

Coaches receive $1,000,000 of liability insurance from the NYSCA upon the completion of the NYSCA certification program.
