  The next friends used book sale will be held at the
  Mesquite Main Library. 
  The dates and times are as follows:

  Memberships can be purchased at the door for as little as $5.00!

  Saturday, May 1, 2010
  9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Donations of "gently read" books for the sale are welcome and may be deposited in the collection bins at either the Main Library, 300 W. Grubb Drive or the North Branch Library, 2600 Oates Drive.  Proceeds from the sale will be benefit the Mesquite Public Library System.

We now have new and colorful cloth tote bags for sale! Our new bag (perfect for carrying books away from our used book sale) is a colorful royal blue and black bag with the Friends logo featured on it. Buy one for only $5.00 and let the world know that you support the Friends of the Mesquite Public Library. All of the money the FOL raises will benefit and enhance the Mesquite Public Library.

Help support the Mesquite Public Library by using a Kroger's Cares or Tom Thumb Reward card at any north Texas Kroger or Tom Thumb food store. Presenting the card to the cashier before the bill is rung up, will allow a portion of your total grocery bill to be given to the Friends of the Mesquite Public Library. Kroger Care and Tom Thumb Reward cards may be received at the library.

The Mesquite Public Library and the North Branch Library will be collecting Campbell Soup labels, which they can redeem through the Labels for Education program. Drop off your Campbell labels at the Main or North Branch libraries to be traded in for various computer equipment programs and other items to enhance the library collection.  

If you're not a member and would like to become one, you can pick up a membership form at the Main Library or the North Branch Library. Memberships are as little as $5.00 per person or for a one time fee of $100.00 you can become a Life Member. Our Friends of the Library membership remains a great bargain and a great way to show your support for the Mesquite Public Library System.
