Summer Aquatic Positions

Certifications are not required to apply for an aquatic position. However, you must obtain the required certifications, as listed below, before hire.

Please note: Obtaining the necessary certifications does not guarantee that an applicant will be hired.

Lifeguard
and
Head Lifeguard :
  • Lifeguard
  • CPR
  • First Aid
  • AED
Pool Cashier :
  • CPR
  • First Aid
  • AED
Swimming Pool Coordinator :
  • Class C Driver’s License
  • Lifeguard
  • CPR
  • First Aid
  • AED
Swimming Pool Supervisor :
  • Class C Driver’s License
  • Lifeguard
  • CPR
  • First Aid
  • AED
Pool Maintenance Technician :
  • Class C Driver’s License
  • Certified Pool Operators (CPO) or Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) certificate (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
Facility Attendant :
  • No Certifications needed
