The City of Mesquite is seeking an Executive Secretary to work within the Police Department, Administration Division. The Executive Secretary will provide a wide variety of highly responsible and complex clerical and secretarial duties to the Administration Division. This position will also provide professional, effective and efficient public service assistance to the general public; and to provide highly responsible secretarial support to an assigned department director.
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
- Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible secretarial and clerical experience.
- Must be able to type 45 wpm.
- Must possess a valid Class C Texas driver's license.
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
TESTING REQUIRED: The following test must be completed prior to the position closing in order to receive consideration for this position:

THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION
The City of Mesquite is seeking a Health Clinic Clerk to work in the Community Services Department. The Health Clinic Clerk will facilitate the intake of clients and provide records as needed. This position will also provide a wide variety of responsible and complex clerical and secretarial support to the Health Clinic staff and will provide professional, effective and efficient public service assistance to the public.
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
- Requires one year of responsible secretarial and clerical experience working in a customer service capacity.
- Must be able to type 35 wpm.
- Must be available to work 24 hours per week Monday through Wednesday 7:30am-4:30pm.
NOTE: This is a part time position with no intent in becoming a full time position.
