Mesquite is one of the original Dallas suburbs. It is located minutes from Downtown Dallas and Lake Ray Hubbard, and is bisected by no more than four interstate or interstate grade highways – IH-635, IH-30, IH-20 and U.S. 80. It is also positioned near the projected Trans Texas Corridor route and will link SH 190 with IH-20 via the Loop 9 project in the future.
